CRITERIA

Original shows, one-person shows and segments of shows are welcome. No entry may exceed 30 minutes in length. If a show requires rights to be performed, it is the contestant's responsibility to secure those rights.

Each contestant will get 10 minutes to set up his/her show and 10 minutes to tear it down. A Technical Manager will monitor this time.

The New Edgecliff Theatre reserves the right to cancel shows if the audience may be physically endangered.

The New Edgecliff Theatre will arrange the contest schedule based on show length and content appropriateness. Also, please note that, where possible, every effort will be made to schedule out-of-town entries near the end of the competition in order to minimize the required length of stay.

The New Edgecliff Theatre assumes no responsibility for the loss, theft, dawmage, or injury to the contestants' belongings or person.

Contestants are to provide their own:

• Set(s)
• Costume(s)
• Prop(s)
• Stage Manager(s) to operate sound and light boards
• Show promotion

The New Edgecliff Theatre will provide:

• A fully functional soundboard with CD player and speakers
• A fully functional light board with a general wash and specials Downstage Right, Center Stage and Downstage Left.
